What to say about Lisbon?

I have been travelling to many different cities in my life. However, for me, there is no other city that can be compared to Lisbon...at least until now!

I usually try to avoid visiting the same place more than once, simply because I love discovering new places. However I have been to Lisbon twice, so this city is definitely an exception to the rule ;-) .

I absolutely love the feeling of wandering through the streets of the old Alfama district, discovering the old streets and watching the old yellow trams pass by.

From there it is easy to walk up to the old 'Castelo de São Jorge', where one can enjoy a beautiful view over the entire city.

Another thing I find really breathtaking is the sunlight that is reflected on the old tiles that cover most of the buildings and creates a simply unique feeling.

And in case you get bored of the city - which I absolutely don't believe - it is very easy to rent a car and continue your journey to the beautiful Algarve region. The highways are in perfect condition and it's only a 3-hour ride!
